Abut 8 months ago I was up in Anchorage doing a little bit of job/housing research. My friends and I went to Bombay Deluxe. I have to say that the food at that time was terrible. Not un-fresh terrible just not REAL, in any way, Indian food.The curry could have been Italian tomato sauce without any herbs garlic etc....Mixed grill tandoori was just grilled meat..no tandoor spices were notable... The service,on the other hand,was GREAT. I've heard that they go through a lot of cooks so...who knows. I'll try it again. - Cochinita Pibil , posted 02/07/07 |

Ok, so the food here is TO DIE FOR....but, the service is slow. Only go if you want a relaxing, no rush dinner. They have such good food, it's worth the wait! AND, they have a tasty lunch buffet too so you can try all sorts of things! My favorites are Palak Paneer (spinach and cheese), Mattar Paneer (peas and cheese), and Vegetables Koftas (veggie balls in a creamy nut sauce)....MMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!! - Shauna , posted 04/22/06 |
