Well, I don't know about Hawai'i
but if you were in Anchorage, I could probably hook you up with your own sewing machine---I know of at least one that is just sitting idel. But on Oahu---well, there is Vron. She does not have a sewing machine, but I bet, if you trade her lessons she might go in on one. I mean, she is all about the sewing, but sewing is so trendy these days, and, in Hawai'i especially, you can make more interesitng, useful things by sewing. Not that anything can beet a pair of thick, wool socks on a very cold night.
