Claymore Daisychain meshes traditional styles of heavy metal and trash music with the more contemporary genres of death metal and screamo. To pull this off, the band consists of two guitarist (Nick and Steve), one bass (Brian), one drummer (Jeff) and two vocalist (Ian and Matt). This combination of members produces a unique sound with blast beats, layered guitars, off timing rockabilly bass, and Ian and Matt convulsing with banshee like wails, to engage the listener and viewer with a sound not know to Anchorage at this time. I saw these guys at club-o and at several house parties they have thrown and all I can say is that it was fucking insane verging on the side of spiritual wakening.
